Ladyburn from the garden The Ladyburn Granny Flat with its own front door (above right) is a separate self-contained apartment in a wing of Ladyburn (left). It has two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen/sitting/dining room and sleeps up to four people. It is available either for "Bed and Breakfast" or Self Catering accommodation.

This is an ideal place from which to base an Ayrshire golfing holiday - Brunston Castle,Turnberry, Troon, Prestwick; see the map.

The flat is conveniently situated for all sorts of expeditions. Take a trip to the Isle of Arran (from the ferry point at Ardrossan, 35 miles). A bit closer to home is Culzean Castle and Country Park (10 miles); or 30 miles away in Dumfriesshire (adjoining Ayrshire to the south and east) there is Drumlanrig Castle and Birds of Prey museum. Stay closer to home and visit Alloway and many of the places associated with Robert Burns which so inspired and informed his poetry.
