The Castle itself can accommodate up to 25 people. Together with 7 self catering rental cottages, Blairquhan can, in all, accommodate up to 59 guests - and guests have the place entirely to themselves to use as they wish.

Blairquhan Castle (pronounced with a soft q), one of the finest Georgian castles in Scotland, was built for Sir David Hunter Blair 3rd Baronet in 1821 - 1824 on the site of a previous castle dating back to 1346.
The Castle is set at the centre of a 2000 acre estate of woodlands and countryside and an idyllic Park of about 500 acres laid out, from 1800 onwards, to take advantage of the exceptional opportunity provided by the beautiful landscape of the valley of the Water of Girvan.
