A very central place to stay: Edinburgh 40 minutes, Perth 30 mins, Stirling 30 mins.

Helen and Alan McDonald have set aside a wing of their house on the edge of the village where they warmly welcome bed and breakfast guests.
Coroghon Guest House is on the edge of the small village of Pool of Muckhart on the South Eastern edge of the Ochil Hills. On the left in the photograph you can just see the 1440 ft top of Seamab which rises to the north of the village. (Locals have been known to run to the top in 12 minutes. Now there's a challenge before breakfast!)
The main north-south M90 is ten minutes away, Gleneagles golf course is close by and St Andrews is 40 minutes, and there'a local golf course only 350 yards away. Knockhill Racing Circuit is ten minutes away.
Though there are restaurants and pubs a-plenty within easy driving, it's only a two minute walk to the pub in the village where you can eat lunch or dinner. Helen and Alan know the area well and are always happy to talk about where to go and what to see, and if you stay at Coroghon at both the start and end of your holiday the McDonalds offer free tour planning help and facilities. See below.
Accommodation:
There are two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom.
All the bedrooms have:
- Private bathroom/shower-room, en suite.
- Free Broadband internet access for your laptop.
- Digital television and DVD player.
- Fresh towels every 2 days, or daily if requested.
- Tea and coffee making facilities.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden Hot-Tub.
Breakfast:
Breakfast is served in the dining room which has windows all round.
Help youself to cereals, fruit and fruit juice.
Helen makes tea coffee, toast, marmalade, jams, honey, as well as cooked Scottish breakfast and specialities such as poached smoked haddock.
If you have any dietary requirements please let Helen know in advance.
For dinner: It's a 2 minute walk to the pub in the village, or there are many good places further afield.

Tariff:
£30 per person per night, based on two people sharing, and including breakfast.
£40 for a single person on their own, including breakfast.
No pets in the house please, and no smoking please.
