With fine views to the skyline of Edinburgh, the Forth Road Bridge and the hills of Fife the house is situated in five acres of grounds which include a tennis court, lawns and shrubs. Guests at Highfield are always very welcome to stroll around and enjoy the garden which also has a potager (flowers and vegetables planted together with formal box and lavender hedging).
A good base for touring Scotland, Highfield House is within easy reach of Stirling, the Trossachs, St Andrew's, the Highlands and Border Country. Golf courses nearby include the Championship course at Dalmahoy.
