Situated just to the south (2 minutes drive) of Loch Lomond, Sheildaig Farmhouse is an idyllic range of converted farmhouse and stables dating from 1804, secluded in lawns, gardens and surrounded by mature trees.

Lesley McLellan warmly welcomes guests to stay for bed and breakfast in self-contained bedroom accommodation, each with its own private entrance, centred around a cobbled courtyard.

Sheldaig is hidden away yet incredibly easy to get to from Glasgow and Glasgow Airport (20 to 30 mins), and it's also a central base from which to easily get to Stirling, Edinburgh or the West Coast in day's round-trip.

Charles Rene MacIntosh's famous Hill House is just a few miles away, and the wilderness of Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park is just a short drive away.

Accommodation:

Each bedroom has a television, CD player, tea/coffee making facilities, trouser press, hairdryer, fridge and microwave.

Breakfast (Cooked Scottish breakfast or Continental style) is served either in the cosy Dining Room or in the Conservatory (right;) which looks over the garden.

If you have any dietry preferences please give Lesley plenty of notice and she will be happy to change the menu accordingly.

Bed and breakfast: Double bedrooms from £30 per person per night (based on two people sharing).

Bed and breakfast: Kingsize bedroom from £35 per person per night (based on two people sharing).

Directions:
At the south end of Loch Lomond at the roundabout which joins the A82 to the A811 take the first exit is into Upper Stoneymollen Road. Follow 'B&B' signs until you get to a junction with two stone columns on the road to the right. Continue up this unmetalled track for 500 metres and you will see Shieldaig Farmhouse on the right side. Turn sharp right into the drive into the car park.
