Brackenbrae
Acharacle
Argyll
Sleeping 6
Brackenbrae is a spacious, modern, detached house set in glorious West Highland scenery only yards from Loch Shiel, with outstanding views over the loch and the surrounding hills. It stands in its own informal garden, with ample parking, on the edge of the village of Acharacle (hotel, shops) at the gateway to the magnificent Ardnamurchan peninsula, which is the most westerly point of the UK mainland. There are beautiful, quiet, sandy beaches within a few minutes drive of the property.
Brackenbrae offers comfortable and well-appointed accommodation, all of which is conveniently situated on the ground floor. One of the two twin-bedded rooms has en suite shower facilities and there is a further double bedroom and main bathroom. In addition, there is a well-equipped kitchen with utility room and a pleasantly furnished sitting room with gas fire.
In its tranquil and delightful setting, Brackenbrae is ideal for a relaxing holiday. Fort William (all facilities) and Ben Nevis are only an hour's drive away, while the little fishing port of Mallaig and Morar with its silver sands and golf course, are also within 40 miles. Visitors may also care to visit Glenfinnan at the other end of Loch Shiel, where Bonnie Prince Charlie raised his standard for the '45 Rebellion.
Electricity, heating by gas-CH, bed-linen and towels are
included. Up to two well-behaved pets are welcome.
