near Melrose,
Roxburghshire

Gledswood Cottage is a detached cottage standing on a slight hill in its own safe fenced garden (furniture) on a large landed Estate bordering the famous River Tweed (fishing available) just 3 miles from Melrose in The Scottish Borders. From its proud position and garden, it has long views across the valley of the River Tweed to the local Eildon Hills and more distant Cheviots, and is in that historic countryside that inspired Sir Walter Scott to write so many of his romances.
