Pumpkin Cottage is an excellent cottage offering very bright and cosy easily-managed accommodation for two people.
It stands detached, in its own ground, just 100 yards from the River Tweed (fishing available locally by permit) in lovely hilly Peebles-shire about 40 minutes drive south of Edinburgh and only a matter of yards from White Cottage.
It is backed by The Cardrona Forest and sits above the quiet secondary road which links the shops and hotels and pubs of the much-loved small town of Peebles (5 miles north of the cottage) to the large village of Innerleithen (3 miles south) - and has historic Traquair House an enjoyable one mile walk away, and all the glorious surrounding Border Countryside just waiting to be explored. Mountain bikes available on request.
Heating by multi-fuel stove and electricity, bedlinen and towels are all 
included. We regret no pets. No smoking is allowed in the cottage.

- Open-plan Sitting/dining room with wood-burning stove, double-bed settee, Hi-Fi, TV, DVD, and a kitchen area with cooker, fridge, microwave, etc.
- Shower room with shower, WC and basin.
Upstairs (on a gallery from which you can look down into the sitting-room):
- Double-bed room with electric blanket.
