Cellardyke

Sea Loft,
Cellardyke,
Near St Andrews, Fife

Sleeping 2

Cellardyke Harbour Sea Loft is in a handsome stone building at the harbour's edge in Cellardyke (see map below) about 7 miles south of St. Andrews and one and a half hour's drive north of Edinburgh.

Erected on the site of a 15th C Bishop's Palace, right on the harbourside at the foot of a steep hill, it is entered from the rear via a cul-de-sac (parking) from which (because of the steep rake of the hill) it is just one floor up to arrive on the second floor - where there are magnificent views to be enjoyed from its front windows right across the Firth of Forth to the Isle of May, the Bass Rock and the East Lothian coast. Completely self-contained and just recently refurbished, it offers very comfortable accommodation for two persons (with a double-futon for extra guests in the sitting-room) and, we are sure, will soon become a firm favourite with any who stay there. It is one of the few properties you can reach by public transport, and with good restaurants, excellent golf-courses, beautiful beaches, and many many places of interest to explore, it makes a most rewarding and 'different' area of Scotland in which to holiday - or honeymoon.

Heating is by gas-fire, and electric convector-heaters (gas and £10 electricity included!included). Bed-linen and towels are included!included. We regret no pets and smoking is not allowed. Wi-Fi is available, subject to provider.
