Sea Wrack House on Skye is a superb new property on Isle Ornsay Bay, just 15 minutes drive from both the Skye Bridge and the Armadale car ferry. It stands just along the bay from Tides Reach, with which it shares parking (two spaces for each property), but the other house is completely screened from it, so both retain total privacy. The house is situated just a few yards from the rocky shore, and from its windows you can watch seals, deer, herons, oyster catchers and even shy otters at the water's edge.

Designed, furnished and equipped to a very high specification, there is an open fire in the sitting room, four bedrooms, and a total of three bath/shower rooms.

The cottage is within easy walking distance of the Eilean Iarmain Hotel, (restaurant, ceilidhs) and the Prabann na Linne Gaelic Whisky Company is also close by.

Sea Wrack House has panoramic views across the Sound of Sleat (pronounced 'slate') to the mainland. There is also a Stevenson lighthouse on the tidal Isle of Ornsay at the point. The area offers plenty of scope for walking, cycling and exploring the island by car. The nearest town is Broadford (9m, shops, restaurants, hotels).

Heating is by open fire (coal included) and oil central heating included to a value of £20.00, any excess to be paid to the Caretaker on departure from the property. Bed-linen is included and towels are available for hire. There is no TV reception. Pets may be accepted by prior arrangement. A refundable damage deposit may apply.
