Tweed Neuk Cottage
St Boswells
Southern Scotland

Sleeping 2(3)

Tweed Neuk is the most deceptive of houses! Very quietly situated behind the owner's home off a little lane in the pretty Borders village of St Boswells, near Melrose, within a minute's walk of the main street (shops, cafe) and very little farther from the golf course and the river, its convenient and peaceful situation still does not prepare you for the delights inside.

Warm and cosy, the cottage has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard and with a flair and style which cannot fail to delight. Downstairs are an elegant and very well-equipped dining kitchen and double bedroom with en suite shower. Upstairs, there is a splendid, spacious and airy sitting area with electric stove and there is also a further shower room (so you can have one each!)

There is off-road parking and to the front of the house is a canopied patio area exclusively for the use of guests, where you can be quite private.

You can stroll across the village green to the pub for drinks or dinner and buses pass through the village en route to Edinburgh, if you fancy a visit to Scotland's vibrant capital without parking hassle. There are lovely riverside walks - peaceful Dryburgh Abbey, for example, is just across the Tweed - or you can tackle the nearby Eildon Hills or the St Cuthbert's and the Southern Upland Ways. The Tweed will need no introduction as one of Scotland's greatest fishing rivers. Riding, cycling (on world-class mountain biking trails) can also be enjoyed locally, or, in more relaxed mode, you can visit the many stately homes, keeps and castles of this historic area.

Bed linen, gas-CH and electricity are included!included and towels may be hired. Up to two well-behaved pets are welcome but should be kept downstairs. Smoking is not permitted in the cottage. Wifi available.
