Visit Scotland 4 starsSet just 20 metres off the Royal Mile, Edinburgh's oldest street connecting Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace, 7/7 St Marys Street is an attractive 4th floor flat sleeping 2 plus a sofabed, making 4 in total. This is comfortable accommodation modernised to a high standard and the building, dating from about 1750, is the oldest in St Mary's Street.

All around are shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés, with the Castle, Holyrood Place, Princes Street, Art galleries and Museums within a half to three quarters of a mile radius. The photograph, above right, was taken looking up the Royal Mile to the spire of St Giles Cathedral.

The apartment owner, Janet Cumming, holds an Ancestral Tourism award and with her experience in researching family history is in a position to help guests with their Scottish ancestral and genealogical research.

All rates quoted are per week, Saturday to Saturday, though longer and shorter lets are also available, as are a number of short/bargain breaks. Please contact Janet for full details.
Rates are inclusive of gas, electricity, fresh towels and linen and taxes. Booking: A deposit is required to secure your booking. This is refundable in case of cancellation on condition that Janet is able to re-let the accommodation, otherwise the amount is non refundable.
Short breaks: Minimum three days and more are sometimes available with the exception of New Year and Festival periods. Please enquire.
Longer stays: Special terms can be arranged if you wish to stay for a month or more. Please email Janet with your requirements.
Payment can be made by GBP Cheque, Postal Order, GBP Traveller's Cheque, direct transfer (BACS) or by Visa/MasterCard.
Check-in time on the day of arrival is from 2.00pm though Janet can arrange to accept luggage from 10.00 am onwards. Please email Janet with your requirements.
Booking-out time is 10.00 am on the day of departure.
Flat 7 is strictly No Smoking. Sorry no pets.
