The front doors

Albany Street is quiet and residential with handsome Georgian architecture (1802), and very central - Princes Street is just a 5 minute walk.

The two apartments are side by side on the lower ground floor and reached by original stone steps (in the middle of the photograph above right). The first door in the photograph on the right is the entrance to 37b. The door to 35b is just this side of the second arch. The apartments are contemporary in style, and there is very little traffic noise so it's quiet and easy to relax.

One of Scotland's most interesting galleries, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery is just a couple of hundred yards away. Stroll down Albany Street to Broughton and Leith Walk and you'll find the Playhouse Theatre, a multi-cinema, Edinburgh's oldest organic food shop Real Foods, delicatessens, restaurants, bars and cafés.

Sitting room with French doors leading onto a narrow patio. TV, dvd, selection of dvd's and books. There is also a large double sofa bed (which does not invade the living space).

Prices range from £450 to £1500 per week depending on the season and the number of guests staying. Clare can also provide short breaks of 2,3,4,5 and 6 days. Please enquire.
