5 Dublin Street
Edinburgh
Scotland
A very central apartment for two.
Diagonally opposite the Scottish National Portrait Gallery on Queen Street, this compact apartment is perfectly placed for staying in central Edinburgh. It's close to all the restaurants, shops, cafés pubs and bars of Broughton and the East end of Princes Street and George Street. St Andrews Square is just one block away and Princes Street two. Everything in central Edinburgh is within walking distance.
The entrance to the apartment is up the steps on the right in the photograph (above right), and the two windows on the left are the kitchen and bedroom/living room. Dublin Street is closed to traffic at the top end, so the apartment is quieter than usual.
There's an old-fashioned cosy atmosphere in this wood-panelled hideaway, and it's fun to be here with its big bed, ultra modern shower-room and magically disappearing kitchen.
