Gordon Rule's ground floor flat is a comfortable self-catering rental apartment for two at Number 16 India Street, a fine terrace of houses in Georgian Edinburgh dating from the early 1800's.

India Street is very central, just 5 minutes walk from the shops on George Street and Princes Street, and about a mile from Edinburgh International Conference Centre. With high ceilings and tall windows typical of 18th/19th century Edinburgh Georgian interiors, the flat has an expansive feeling, and is an ideal base for those like peace and quiet, a central location and civilised surroundings.

Right;
The bedroom has 2 single beds. A cot (crib) is available on request. There's a trouser press and hair dryer.

The bedroom is at the back of the house and therefore quiet. The window looks over very pretty gardens belonging to other residents of India Street (no access).

Bathroom with shower over the bath.

Below left and right;
The bow-ended drawing room has a marble fireplace, living-flame gas fire, dining area, comfortable sofas, tv, dvd and hi-fi. Particularly interesting are the two pinewood drawing room doors cut and shaped to match the curve of the bow wall.

The kitchen has a ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and ironing facilities.

The window with a table and window-seat looks over the gardens behind India Street.

The flat has full central heating.
