Roseburn Maltings is a smart new development built on the site of one of Edinburgh's old brewery maltings. The apartment is on the first floor (one flight of stairs), reached via a security entrance, and is comfortable, modern and light. Owner Joe Pringle welcomes guests by providing a 'starter pack' of a bottle of red and white wine, butter, cheese, jam, bread and cereal. There are shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés nearby. Murrayfield Stadium is a short walk away. Number 4 is a good place to stay for easy access to Edinburgh city centre. It has free off-road parking and is about a mile to the west of Princes Street and the Castle (and a minute from one of the best bus routes in the city). Alternatively, the walk to the centre takes about 12 minutes. |
