Front door

Archie and Cassie Bouverie and family welcome guests to stay for bed and breakfast at their home in the two lower floors of this fine Georgian house in Scotland Street, a pleasant 7 minutes walk from Princes Street and the centre of Edinburgh. They live in the adjoining flat at 9C and have a quick commute through the garden to welcome and chat to guests.

Cosy in winter, cool in summer, this is a very congenial place to stay. You can come and go as and when you please, and the old pine table under wooden beams in the kitchen can always be used for impromtu snacks, a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and relaxed conversation. Carinu, their housekeeper, will be there to welcome you and give advice on things to do and places to go. She shares the cooking of breakfast with Archie who is a qualified chef.

Archie says, "Use the kitchen, bring your friends, basically make yourself at home."

Guests may arrive at any time, but please be sure to tell the Bouveries exactly when - in advance - so they can be there to welcome you.
