Though Bill Rolland lives in California he has relations in Scotland and Arradoul is his much-loved home when he and his family come back to visit. It is a stone built semi-detached Victorian cottage (awarded four stars as self catering accommodaton by Visit Scotland) and is situated in a quiet road which leads down to the sea just 500 yards away.

There is a fenced grass garden behind the house, ideal for children (and an adventure playground close by).

Golf courses near St Andrews, Fife, Scotland

Arradoul is ideal for golf at St Andrews (only 10 minutes away) and the area presents the ideal opportunity to play golf in one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland. With 16 golf courses within 15 miles of Arradoul, both experts and beginners will find ample variety on which to test their skills, from world famous seaside links to rolling inland courses.

St Andrews is the home of golf, with five courses including the pre-championship qualifying course at Ladybank. Very fine seaview courses are also at Crail, Elie, Lundin Links, and Anstruther itself.

There is plenty of easy car parking in the street. Bus services, shops and a bakery are just 20 yards away, and there are restaurants close by for every palate and wallet.
