Number 5 Golf Place is a traditional Victorian house in the small street in St Andrews which leads down to the famous Royal and Ancient Golf Clubhouse, the 1st tee of the Old Course and the seashore. It is comfortable, well furnished and has an upstairs sitting room with a bay window from which you can see the Clubhouse and the sea (right).

Whether you are playing golf in St Andrews, or touring this beautiful part of Scotland it is extremely central and convenient. The broad sandy beach and seashore (photograph top) is only a shorts walk down the road, there is a Cashmere woolen shop just round the corner, and the shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés of St Andrews are all close by (see the map at the bottom of this page).

All in all it would be hard to find a more perfect and central self-catering holiday rental from which to explore St Andrews and central Scotland, and especially one so close to the historical origin of the game of golf!
