Breakfast:

Breakfast is served in a wing of the kitchen downstairs (right) with a window looking over the front garden and paddocks. Caroline makes a country breakfast - all kinds of ways of cooking fresh local eggs, best local ayrshire bacon, sausages, black pudding, and plenty of toast, fruit, yoghurts, cereals and fresh coffee. Alternatively you can have a more continental style breakfast of ham and cheeses, etc., if you like - and special diets can be catered for; please just ask. |

Staying with the Craigs you can enjoy moorland walks, bird watching and trout fishing on their estate. Muirsheil Country Park borders with them, and sport at Lochwinnoch includes dingy sailing and wind surfing. Lots of golf courses. Museums and art galleries abound - street markets, auction rooms, junk shops and antique shops. Caroline went to art school after she left Trinity College Dublin. Both she and John were born and bred in the West of Scotland.
