Cottage garden is on the ground floor at the end of a 19th century former stables and grooms accommodation built of local sandstone on the Western edge of North Berwick. It's south facing conservatory looks out onto a small enclosed garden full of rock-plants and shrubs.
The walk into town is 10-15 minutes with plenty of restaurants and shops, beach, harbour and, for bird lovers, the Scottish Seabird Centre. The West Links Golf Course is just 5 minutes away, and most golfers will know that North Berwick is an ideal base for the many golf courses in East Lothian, including Muirfield, Gullane and Luffness. There is the Bass Rock with its seabirds for a visit by boat, and the castles at Dirleton and Tantallon.
About 4 minutes walk away is the rail station with regular trains into Edinburgh Waverley taking 35 minutes.
This is a residential area with free parking all round and private parking for one car. Cottage Garden is available for self-catering weekly rental for 3 people or 4 if the extra bed in the single room is used.
