Cuisine:
The Restaurant is relaxed and informal. The food is modern Scottish/continental.
Chef Robert Aspden seeks out the best natural fresh ingredients including all those for which Scotland is so well known: salmon, scallops, mussels, lobster, crab, beef, game and venison, all sourced as locally as possible.
The menu which changes with the seasons is a la carte. There is also a blackboard with 'daily specials'. The puddings and desserts are made by the Chef's wife, Alison.
