Rowanbrae,
Peebles,
Scotland
Tricia and John O'Hara welcome guests for bed and breakfast at their home, Rowanbrae, situated in a quiet no-through-road in Peebles, about 35 minutes south of Edinburgh. There's free parking directly outside. It is a beautifully kept traditional Victorian house (awarded 4 Stars by Visit Scotland, the Scottish Tourist Board), built for the manager of Ballantynes Woollen Mill in 1879, and has fine original cornices and old pine woodwork.
Tricia is passionate about her garden and is also keen on flower arranging. One of the nicest things about Rowanbrae is the profusion of flowers and there are always fresh flowers in the house.
The O'Haras are very happy to help suggest places to see and visit in this beautiful part of the Scottish Borders and warmly hope your stay will be an enjoyable one.
