For breakfast, in the Dining Room (right) Elizabeth Ann offers a splendid full cooked Scottish breakfast (such as locally smoked trout with creamy scrambled eggs from very spoilt chickens!) and a wide choice of fruit, porridge, cereals, yoghurt, breads, toast tea/coffee and herb teas. Plus a little sweetmeat- usually hot scones fresh from the oven served with home made jams and jellies. Special dietary requirements can be catered for - preferably with advance notice. Elizabeth Ann also offers Dinner. She specializes in delicious home cooking using top quality local produce in season. Galloway beef and lamb, local game, cheeses and honey, fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs from the garden when available. Here is an example of a Dinner menu: Guests are welcome to bring their own drinks to serve with meals. |
