Highland Games in 2009
Highland Games incorporate feats of strength and agility that were practised in the Highlands, no doubt from very early times. The Games nowadays include putting the shot;throwing the hammer,tossing the caber, piping, dancing, running,tug of war and sometimes pipe band competitions too. A fantastic day out in a very Scottish atmosphere!
There are many more Highland Games than mentioned, but some dates are yet undecided. I can check if there is a Highland Games in a specific area if not listed below.
