WEDDING PRICE GUIDE

At Traquair we pride ourselves on being able to provide a very personal service and every wedding here is a unique occasion. We are entirely flexible and can cater to most individual needs and requirements and are happy to discuss any request you may have.

Please be advised that all rates include a dedicated Wedding Co-ordinator to assist with you plans and preparations.

Individual quotations are strongly advised however, the following prices may be used as a guide.

All prices quoted are subject to VAT @ 17.5%

WEDDING CEREMONY

Use of Traquair House or Chapel: £300.00 (To include floral decoration) Outside ceremony: £200.00

RECEPTIONS

In House receptions: Exclusive use of the house from 5pm to 12 midnight.

April - October: £800.00

November - April: please contact us as rates vary on availability.

GROUNDS RECEPTIONS:

Marquee ground hire: Please contact us as rates vary on availability.

Marquee Hire: Traquair New Century Marquee, fully furnished for up to 50 guests £1000.00

Clear span frame marquee (44 x 34 fully lined & floored) for 100 guests, estimated cost: £2500.00

ACCOMMODATION SUITES

Double Occupancy Bed & Breakfast Rate 2008: £90.00 per person

Single Occupancy Bed & Breakfast Rate 2008:
£100.00 per person

Please be advised that a complimentary bottle of Cuvee Catherine is included in the rate for the Bride and Groom. Please also be advised that we can source local accommodation for those guests who want to stay near the house.

TERMS and CONDITIONS

1. A non refundable deposit of £400.00 is payable to confirm your reservation
2. 50% of the balance is payable 6 weeks in advance of the wedding date and the remainder must be paid at least 7 days in advance of the event.
3. Payment is accepted by VISA, Mastercard, or cheque in pounds sterling.
4. The exact numbers attending must be stated 5 working days prior to the wedding. This number will be considered the guarantee which is not subject to reduction.
5. Entertainment - All entertainment must conclude at 12 midnight
6. Confetti of any kind is not permitted
7. Traquair has a strict no smoking policy in all rooms.
8. The management take no responsibility for any loss or theft of personal items.
9. Any damage to property at Traquair must be paid for in full.
