Exclusive use, and rental periods:
For the duration of your stay, your party will have exclusive use of the castle and grounds. Wedderburn is available for weekends, usually starting on a Friday at 4pm, and leaving on a Sunday by midday, or later to allow for lunch if required. Alternatively a two night mid-week stay from Tuesday to Thursday can be taken and your stay may be extended to three or four nights by arrangement.

Wedderburn has 14 bedrooms that comfortably accommodate 26 adults. The maximum number of guests that may be accommodated is 28 and the maximum total reception capacity is for 92 people
The rental price does not include catering.

Rates include Vat (sales tax) at the prevailing rate of 17.5%.
Catering prices include all associated waiting staff. If service of an informal dinner (normally served in the kitchen) is requested in the dining room there will be a 20% surcharge. This is often the case if additional non-resident guests are invited and the kitchen (seats 32) is not big enough.
If you are planning a party of less than 22 guests, please note that the minimum charge for catering over a 2 night stay, to include drinks waiters, is £3200. This sum will provide full board catering of a high standard for 22 adults. The minimum charge for catering over a one night mid-week stay is £1800.
We think that it is not practical to charge corkage by the bottle, and we think a fixed rate is easier and better value. We ensure that sufficient drinks waiting staff (generally 1 per 25 or 30 guests) are present to manage your drinks service, and we provide all crystal, ice and so on. Our 'drinks waiters' are experienced and discreet, but their role is a general one, and may for example include portering / showing guests to their rooms on arrival. They are not cocktail waiters.
You are welcome to order drink from a merchant of your choice for delivery to the castle ahead of your arrival. If you would prefer for us to arrange provision of your drink, we have a reasonably priced wine list, including all mixers and spirits. All drink must be ordered prior to arrival.

- The cottages are only let on a self-catering basis. If a change of sheets is required mid-way through a stay (for example if cottage occupants change) please let us know in advance and additional sheets and towels will be left in advance of your arrival.
