"Duirinish" is old Norse for Headland of the Deer.
Duirinish Lodge is set in 18 acres of woodland gardens on the heather covered hills overlooking the conservation villages of Duirinish and Drumbuie about a mile from the sea.
There are spectacular views over the sea to Skye, the Isle of Raasay, Applecross and Torridon. The picturesque fishing village of Plockton is two miles away, and on the other side of the peninsula is the Kyle of Lochalsh and bridge to Skye.
The Guest Wing of the Lodge sleeps 4, and is available for weekly rental as self-catering accommodation all year round, and is a comfortable base for exploring Skye or the National Parks and nature reserves of Torridon, or you can stay at home, wander around the gardens, play pool in the Games Room or relax among the pine trees in the Summer House.
The Guest Wing can be rented at the same time as the whole of Duirinish Lodge

All-cotton bedding is provided, including feather-filled pillows and duvets.
Non-feather pillows are also available.
Towels are also provided.

- Bicycles, trampoline, table tennis, boules/basketball court.
Also, the use of:
- Games room equipped with pool table, darts, hi-fi system, board and card games.
- Summer house, on top of the hill behind the house, offering seclusion and views.
Tariff:

Weekly tariff for the Wing (sleeping 4) ranges between £400 and £800 depending on the time of year.
(Weekly tariff for the Lodge (sleeping 6) ranges between £800 and £1800 depending on the time of year.)
(Weekly tariff for the Lodge and Wing (sleeping 10) ranges between £1200 and £2800 with the Christmas and New Year weeks at £3000.)
Children are welcome
There is a cot (crib) for an infant
Dogs can be accommodated, but please ask first.
Rental period: Saturdays 3pm to Saturdays 10am.
For reasons of safety, health and comfort, smoking is not permitted anywhere in the property.
