Self-guided walking breaks among the beautiful hills and valleys of the Scottish Borders. The routes have been carefully researched to include historical interest as well as spectacular scenery. Informative notes and maps are provided. Walks include The John Buchan Way (ending in Peebles), Walter Scott and the Tweed Valley (Melrose and the Eildon Hills) and Selkirk and the Southern Upland Way. Enjoy a stay in comfortable hotels and country houses, such as Fauhope House in Gattonside and let Learmont Mackenzie carry your bags. All destinations are easily accessible from Edinburgh, and the south.

Guided walking tours to Skye and Mull. Enjoy breathtaking journeys into the wild and remote heartlands of the Isles of Skye and Mull. Explore some of the Cuillin Hills on Skye and visit historic sites, including Iona Abbey on Mull. Week long walking tours with an experienced guide. Groups of 6 – 12 and private minibus.
Day walks in the Scottish Borders Non-competitive Saturday walks over wild heather covered hills, along ancient sheep and cattle drove roads, through wooded valleys, visiting historic places of interest along the way.

An advocate by profession, with a background in the classics, Alastair has extensive experience leading group walks in Scotland, as well as further afield in Italy and France. He has a particular interest in Borders history and folklore.
With a background in marketing, Kitty spent six years in Italy working at the British Chamber of Commerce, and as a tour guide in Tuscany and Umbria. She speaks Italian, Spanish and French.
Frank Ribbons has been mountaineering and leading groups into wild places for the past 30 years and has extensive knowledge of the west coast of Scotland including Mull and Skye, and also speaks German.
