Just along the shore from the centre of the small town of Inveraray, Newton Hall is right on the edge of Loch Fyne with views across to the Argyll Forest Park on the opposite shore.

Less than two hours from Glasgow, Inveraray is one of the prettiest and most interesting small towns on the west coast of Scotland and makes a perfect base for exploring this magical part of Scotland.

Janice and Bill McNicol warmly welcome guests to stay for bed and breakfast in their home, once and old church and now converted into a Guest House. Some rooms have beautiful views across the Loch and some face to the back overlooking the courtyard.

Guests who have visited Newton Hall previously should note that the increase to our tariff for 2010 reflects the substantial refurbishment and improvements we have made to the house.

Tiree (Room 1)
Double Bedroom with en-suite and walk- in shower. Cosy and delightful ground floor bedroom with amazing views overlooking Loch Fyne which can be enjoyed from the window seats built into the three gothic church windows. £40 pppn incl. breakfast.

Jura (Room 2)
Deluxe Double Bedroom with luxury en-suite and large walk-in shower. Spacious and tranquil ground floor bedroom with king-size bed overlooking the courtyard. £55.00 pppn incl. breakfast.

Lismore Suite (Room 3)
Deluxe Master Bedroom with luxury en-suite, whirlpool bath and large walk-in shower. Spacious, contemporary room on the upper floor with king-size bed. Both bedroom and en-suite overlook the loch. £60.00 pppn incl. breakfast.

Gigha Family Suite (Room 4)
Double Bedroom with separate, adjoining Twin Bedroom and large family en-suite, with over- bath shower. Delightful family accommodation on the upper floor. £35 pppn (adults) incl. breakfast see below for children's rates.

Islay (Room 5)
Large Twin Bedroom with en-suite and walk-in shower. Beautiful twin room with window seats built into the three gothic church windows on the upper floor of the house. £49 pppn incl. breakfast

Iona Suite (Room 6)
Deluxe Master Bedroom with luxury en-suite, roll-top bath and large walk-in shower. Stunning room with king-size bed on the upper floor overlooking Loch Fyne from three floor- level gothic windows. £60 pppn incl. breakfast.

Colonsay (Room 7)
Double Bedroom with en-suite and walk-in shower. Delightful, contemporary room with partial view of the loch and full view of the stars in bed at night! £35 pppn incl. breakfast.

Children
Children from 0-3 years – no charge
Children from 4-15 – £15 per night. Please note the rate of £15 per night only applies when children share the family suite with parents.

Single occupancy
A £10 charge is added for single occupancy of double rooms. However, during the busy summer months and holiday times such as Easter and New Year the full room rate is charged.

No smoking and no pets please.

Inveraray

The small town of Inveraray was planned and built on the shores of Loch Fyne by the Duke of Argyll in the second half of the 1700's. It is one of only a handful of 'Georgian model towns' in Scotland.
