This old warm red sandstone bothy has been modernised and made into a quiet and comfortable self-catering holiday home for 4 by Marlene and Hugh Smith who live in the attached farmhouse (right) where they also welcome guests for bed and breakfast.
The bothy has its own sheltered courtyard with outdoor furniture and barbeque. From the courtyard there's access to the upper part of the garden where amongst the shrubs and trees you can discover the ancient ivy-covered remains of a medieval Knights Templar chapel.
The village of Drem is just 3 miles from the sea at North Berwick, and the famous golf courses of Gullane, Luffness, Muirfield are close by. Staying here is incredibly convenient for visiting Edinburgh: Drem train station is 200 yards away and the trip to Edinburgh is only 30 minutes.

Price varies according to the season, so please ask Marlene for a quotation. Prices include electricity and central heating, linen and towels.
